Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KAIZN, a brand operated by Lirens (CVR 45400050), Gyldenstenvej 19, 5230 Odense M, Denmark, collects and uses your personal data when you use kaizn.dk. We are the data controller. Questions: hello@kaizn.dk.

What we collect

• Contact & order details — name, email, shipping address, and what you ordered.
• Uploaded 3D files — the STL files you submit for a print quote, plus their specs (material, colour, dimensions).
• Account — your email address, used for passwordless (magic-link) sign-in.
• Payment — handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
• Usage & analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies (see Cookies below).

Why we use it (legal basis)

• To quote, produce, and ship your order, and to contact you about it — performance of a contract.
• To keep the site secure and diagnose errors — legitimate interest.
• To measure and improve the shop — your consent (analytics cookies).
• To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the shop — they act as our processors under contract and use it solely on our instructions:

• An e-commerce & payment provider, to take and manage orders and process payments.
• Cloud hosting, database & file-storage providers (within the EU), to run the site and hold your account, order and uploaded files.
• An email delivery provider, to send order and status messages.
• Analytics, advertising & error-monitoring providers, to measure and promote the shop and keep it reliable (analytics and ads only with your consent).

We may also disclose data where required by law. We can name the specific providers on request.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies/local storage to run the site (your session, cart, language, and your cookie choice). Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as required by law (accounting records: 5 years in Denmark). Uploaded files and quotes are kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Analytics data is retained for a limited period by our analytics provider.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@kaizn.dk. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
